To Alumni and Friends of Morris Brown College:
With a deep sense of compassion, honor and pride, the Morris Brown College Family joins our broader community in acknowledging the untimely death of Law Enforcement Officer Terence Avery Green, a distinctive 1989 Bachelor of Arts Criminal Justice Graduate of Morris Brown College.
As an entering Freshman Student at our institution (in response to the standard application questions) – (Why have you chosen Criminal Justice as a Major Program of Study) Terence A. Green provided a prophetic response: "I am interested in Law and Order": 1st Choice - Probation Officer; 2nd Choice—FBI Agent; 3rd Choice- Policeman.
With much thanksgiving to God, we recall the achievement of his personal and professional interests and his unconditional service to dutifully support the process of Law and Order for the protection of community.
As President of Morris Brown College, on behalf of the Morris Brown College Family, inclusive of our Board of Trustees Chairman, Bishop Preston Warren Williams II; The Board of Trustees; Administration; Faculty; Students and Alumni, I hereby express and extend our deepest sympathy to the family, friends colleagues and friends of Terence Avery Green.
