Developed by the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Innovation (CTLI), The SPOT transforms the peer learning experience through a bold identity that connects deeply with our students and fosters academic excellence, confidence, and community.

What is The SPOT?

The SPOT stands for Student Peer Outreach & Peer Learning Coaching. It offers students personalized support through one-on-one and group Peer Learning Coaching, a fully integrated Writing Lab, and a specialized STEM Lab. Whether you need help with writing assignments, math problems, or study skills, The SPOT is your destination for academic empowerment.

Services Offered

Peer Learning Coaching

One-on-one or group-based coaching sessions with certified Peer Learning Coaches (PLCs).

Writing Lab

Support with brainstorming, formatting, grammar, editing, and AI-assisted writing across all disciplines.

STEM Lab

Tutoring in math, science, technology, and engineering courses, including calculator skills and coding basics

Study Jams & Pop-Ups

Group study events and exam prep workshops.

Incentive Programs

Earn rewards through academic punch cards, achievement badges, and recognition programs
