BECE 302 Society and the Workplace: Power, Diversity, and Management Communication

This course examines the complex dynamics of power and diversity within workplace
settings and their impact on communication practices. Students will explore how social
identities, cultural backgrounds, and organizational hierarchies influence interpersonal
and group communication. The course will cover strategies for effective management
communication that foster inclusivity and collaboration. Through case studies, roleplaying, and group discussions, learners will develop skills to navigate and enhance
communication in diverse workplace environments.
