BUS-HM 231 Legal Aspects of the Hospitality Industry

This course introduces the fundamental laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the
hospitality and tourism industry. Using a case study approach, students will develop
awareness and understanding of the legal problems confronting managers in their policymaking roles. Key areas of focus include contracts, liability, employment law, licensing,
