HUM 201 Humanities I Music

This course is designed to include those disciplines that emphasize the intellectual,
aesthetic, and ethical values of heritage. This course explores the various musical
periods with special emphasis on the musical contributions of African Americans and
teaches students how to listen critically to music of all genres.
