This course introduces undergraduate business students to the transformative
technologies of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) and
explores their growing impact on modern business practices. Students will gain a
foundational understanding of how AI systems learn from data, make predictions, and
generate content, while critically examining their applications across marketing, finance,
operations, human resources, and entrepreneurship. Through hands-on projects, case
studies, and simulations, students will explore tools like ChatGPT, DALL·E, and other
generative models, learning how to leverage these technologies for problem-solving,
innovation, and strategic decision-making. The course also addresses key topics such as
data ethics, algorithmic bias, automation, intellectual property, and the future of work in
an AI-powered economy.
