This course examines the biopsychosocial effects of acute and chronic stress, along with
the protective mechanisms of psychological resilience. Students analyze stress models,
trauma responses, and the impact of adversity on physical and mental health. Topics
include coping strategies, resilience training, post-traumatic growth, and mindfulnessbased interventions. The course emphasizes evidence-based practices for enhancing wellbeing in clinical, educational, and occupational contexts.
