This course examines the psychological foundations of special education and inclusive
practice. Students will study the identification, assessment, and support of children with
diverse learning needs including ADHD, autism, and emotional-behavioral disorders.
Emphasis is placed on the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs),
collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and culturally responsive approaches to
inclusive education.
